Welcome!

Hello there! My name is Hailey, and I'm a IT professional and small business owner in Corpus Christi, TX. I consider a day well-lived if I've been able to do something beneficial to my team, my customers, and/or my community, whether that be at the smallest or largest scale. My degree is in Computer Science, and I was able to work hard enough to graduate with that degree in three years, rather than the traditional four or more. Along with my studies, during that time, I was able to partake in multiple research opportunities, and even publish a research paper, "A Framework for Determination of Ocean Wave Properties Using Unmanned Aerial Systems." While my formal education and work experience has been in technology, I've gathered experience in a multitude of industries and disciplines. Between my family's business and my many successful and failed ventures into small businesses of my own, I've been able to fill my toolbox with miscellaneous skills and experiences that would be beneficial in any kind of working environment. I had a failed robotics start-up that taught me so much about how to perform proper market research, begin developing a business model and plan, pitch a business/product idea, and network professionally. I had a small business win in Teacup Goods, which I have so much pride in. I've learned so much about networking, advertising, marketing, community outreach, and more. It gave me the ability to let my imagination run wild, since everything I sold was invented in my mind and made by my hands, and to be able to see all of my efforts be so accepted in the community really unlocked a lot of creativity in me, which has stuck around, and I look forward to using it every day. In my free time, I love to paint, cook, walk my dog, garden, read, and watch movies and shows!
